welcome to my home page. let me give you a quick summary of me. I live in Kentucky but grew up in South Carolina. I went to college in Tennessee, and have lived in a lot of different places. I am an avid Clemson and Tennessee fan. I hope to be hearing from all you tiger and vol fans soon. My hobbies include sports and cooking. I play alot of golf(it is not a hobby it is a way of life.) I also like country music and oldies, not much on new rock. although I do like Bob Segar, Bruce Springsteen.
I am in sales and have been for 25 years. If any of you live in Tennessee or Kentucky and are looking for a career change of new job e-mail me. It may be the best move you ever make. We are a AAA rated company with Standard and Poors. Hope to hear from you soon.

my favorite recipes
Black Bean Salad.
1 can black beans (rinsed until the water is clear)
1 can white corn drained
2 big tomatoes chopped (or 4 Roma Tomatoes)
1 jalopena pepper chopped fine
1 green bell pepper chopped fine
1 bunch fresh Cilantro chopped fine
4 limes squeezed
salt to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons minced garlic
mix all together and cover and let set for 48 hours before serving.
mrtomdos yummy pie
1 6oz can of frozen lemonaid or limeaid
1 can eagle brand milk
1 med size tub of cool whip
1 ready made pie crust
mix ingredients together and pour in pie crust. Let stand in ref. for 2 hours or until cold. cut and serve
Summer Fruit with Sabayon Creme
4 egg yolks,beaten
1/2 cup apricot or peach nector
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream whipped
1/2 tsp almond extract
fresh raspberries,mangoes,apricots,peaches,plums and kiwis
In a heavy saucepan, combine egg yolks,sugar and nectar. cook over mediium heat,stirring constantly with whisk until thick. Set saucepan in pan of cracked ice and wisk until cold. Fold in whipped cream and extract. Pour over sliced fruit in serving goblets.serves 4
Savory Swordfish
6 Swordfish steaks,cut1 to 1 1/2 in. thick
salt and pepper
Mayonnaise
preheat broiler or grill. season both sides of steaks. Spread Mayonnaise generously on each side. Broil on each sid about 10 min. DONOT OVERCOOK
serve with tartar sauce or lemon slices.
Whiskey Chicken
3 lbs broiler chicken, cut into pieces
1 Lemon or Lime, cut in half
1/4 cut of whiskey
1/2 cup of melted butter
2 tblsp soy sauce
1 tblsp of ginger root
1 tblsp honey
Rub chicken with lemon or lime. Mix other ingredients together. Marinate chicken upto 2 hours grill chicken for 20 mins. on each side
Papaya Cream
1 large Papaya(about 2 lbs) peeled, seeded, and quartered.
2 cups plain Yogurt ( or non fat if like)
2 tblsp honey
1 tblsp lime juice
garnish: small Papaya slices.
In food processor, combine Papaya, yogurt, honey and lime juice. Blend until smooth. Pour into stemmed glasses and chill ( about 30 mins)
garnish with papaya slices and serve (serves 4)
Fruit Compote
8 small sweet seedless oranges, peeled and sectioned
1 can (16 oz)crushed pineapple
1 cup strawberries, sliced
1 mango, peeled and chopped
1 cup orange juice
1 cup coconut cream
In a clear glass bowl, layer fruits. Combine orange juice and coconut cream. pour over fruit. chill 1 hour. serves 6-8
Hard Sauce
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup of confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence, or 1 tblsp brandy
Cream butter; gradually add sugar. Continue beating until creamy. Stir in flavoring. Chill at least 30 mins.
Great with Gauva Duff and other puddings.
I do have some other good recipes that I will share on the barter system.Mayb e some of you have some good recipesthat you would like to share. I have a cheese cake recepe I will trade for a good manicotti recipe. Also I have a good smoked turkey and smoked ham recipe I'll trade for a good recipe for baked Alaskian. However I will trade any recipe I have for a good Baked Alaskian. Now maybe that will get my email humming.
In case some of you are wondering if I give lessons well, I do, but the price isn't cheap. Already had one say she wants lessons but we haven't come up with a price. I kinda like the barter system myself Elaine, how about you.

After that it gets hard. But I guess it would have to be " Hey Jude" by the Beatles.

and second is " the Dance" by Garth Brooks. I like that on because I don't want to ever miss the dance.

Well I hope you have learned a little about mrtomdo. I have enjoyed putting all this together for you. Now I just hope I haven't misspelled too many words or used too bad of grammar. If I did, remember that I have been out of school a long time and I didn't major in English.
At the bottom of this page there are some sites that you can click on to. The first one I hope you will want to check out. It is one that I believe will mean alot to some of you. I know it did to me a while back. It talks about money and that is something everyone likes. It has a place that you can click onto and learn how to invest and about dollars and sense.
Check it out I don't think you will be disappointed. At least I hope you won't. It isn't a site that is a multi level or any thing like that. you don't join a club so I think it will surprise you.
